About the Artist

Pritinder "Pepi" Singh Khara was born in Mumbai, India in August, 1961.  In 1979, he left India to live in the UK and then on to the US in 1984.

He found himself pursuing a career in business but made a promise to himself to one day return to his true love and passion, art. 

A rennaisance man of sorts, he has travelled to 25 countries and speaks 4 languages.  He is a proud father, a successful businessman, a cinematographer for 3 independent feature films, a fine art photographer, a keen painter. 

Currently he resides in historic downtown Frederick, Maryland in a 110 year old row house he calls his studio, gallery & home.

As one can see from the close up image below, Pritinder's work has been described as - "a fusion of color, laden abundantly with rich layers of texture".
